When I was a child I had many friends and we always  used to go to different places on bicycle, I don`t remember very well but I think that we were like ten guys, we used to go to downtown or hill, just for fun.
 I enjoyed a lot that time, because I lived in Maipu near  "Camino a Rinconada" and every weekend we constantly used to go to hill "Quebrada de la Plata" that place is amazing because you can find a lot of nature, enjoying the scenery. that time was a ecstatic moment.
However when I was fifteen years old I started to study at the university at the same time that school and I did not have time to go with my friends to ride on  bicycle, to tell you the truth I put my focus in the university.
At the University I could find a lot of  "new friends" all of them related to  music. At present I don´t have one best friend, in fact, I have many, it is too difficult to say which one of them is the best because all of them are. We are always playing together, and we see each other daily, I mean  at the orchestra, at the rehearsal or at the cafeteria, etc.

When I was sixteen I decided to study music, specifically Percussion at the University of Chile. However it was very difficult for my family because the conservatory and the University in general were very expensive and we are not the type of family that have money for everything, but I did not choice and  I decided to do it. I am not talking about that I am rebel, but I knew that the percussion would be my profession for all my life, and even more my passion.
The day had been arrived, and  I applied to the University on december, tuesday, two thousand and six.  And the results will be ready one week after postulation. During this week when I was waiting the results I felt very nervous and I hesitate about my decision, however my Dad and my Mom spoke with me and they supported me.
The next tuesday I went to the university in order to know the results. I could check for my self it. I had been ¡accepted!. The happiness of it was unforgettable, and when I feel sad or unsuccessful I think in that day to know that nothing is impossible.

The "Master Class"

Three years ago I went to see a drumer, his name is Horacio "el negro Hernandez". He came to Chile alone because he is a solist. Horacio is from Cuba and plays Cuban music.
 I would like to mencion that he has developed own style conbining the  Afro Cuban music with the Jazz and I could  say that He is one of the best drummers in the world,
The master class was facinating  and I enjoyed it so much.  there were many students of percusion in the hall, the concert took place in the "Escuela Moderna de Musica". Horacio is amazing because he plays with many snare drums and has an excellent "rhythm in his body". For instance he can play different rhythms for each limb.
from the biggining the  master class was interesting and I discovered many posibilities that we have to practice. However the final part was very provocative in  my life and to tell you the truth it change my life.
He was very emphatic in to say that the only one form to be a great drumer is practice every day without stop.
